Alemannia is a large region of broad plains and gently rolling hills, occassionally broken up by thick forests of pine and hardwood. Dozens of rivers originating the mountains to the north water the land on their long journey to the southern sea. Alemannia is a polyglot culture, a barbarian culture similar to the Geats to the north, conquered and assimilated by the advancing imperials from the south. The fusion of those two worlds produced a sensible and industrious people. The area’s wealth of natural resources means there is rarely any hardship, but Alemannia’s central location and lack of any naturally defensible terrain means that war comes often and the locals have a difficult time keeping out invaders.
